Privacy Policy

Quads is a two-player strategy game. It doesn't ask you to create an account, and it doesn't run a server that stores your data — almost everything below happens entirely on your device.

What we don't collect

Quads has no accounts, no chat, and no server-side database. Your game progress, settings, statistics, achievements, and purchase status are all stored locally on your device and are never transmitted to us.

Advertising

Unless you've purchased Remove Ads, Quads shows ads through Google AdMob. These are non-personalized ads only — they're chosen from the context of the app rather than from a profile of you, and Quads does not track you across other apps or websites.

Because Quads doesn't request personalized ads, it never shows an App Tracking Transparency prompt on iOS — there's nothing to ask you to allow. You'll see ads either way; they're just not targeted using your activity elsewhere.

Google may still process limited device and ad-delivery data to serve and measure non-personalized ads, and to cap how often you see the same one. AdMob's own data practices are covered by Google's Privacy Policy.

The playable web version at playquads.com/play shows ads through Google AdSense instead of AdMob, since AdMob has no web SDK.

Website analytics

This applies to the playquads.com website — including the browser-playable version — and not to the iOS or Android apps, which send us no analytics at all.

The website uses Google Analytics 4 to count visits and see which pages people reach. It records things like the page you're on, a rough location derived from your IP address, and what kind of device and browser you're using. We use it to understand whether anyone is finding the site, nothing more. We don't use it to build a profile of you, and we don't sell or share it.

Google's handling of this data is covered by Google's Privacy Policy. You can opt out across all sites with the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on, or by using your browser's own tracking protection.

In-app purchases

Remove Ads and the cosmetic theme pack are processed entirely by the App Store or Google Play. Quads never sees your payment details — only whether a purchase went through, which is recorded on your device so it survives app restarts.

Notifications

The optional daily-puzzle reminder is scheduled locally on your device. No push service or server is involved in sending it.

Feedback

The in-app feedback form opens your device's own mail app with a pre-filled draft addressed to us. Nothing is sent unless you choose to send that email yourself.

Children's privacy

Quads is rated for a general audience and does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children.

Changes

If this policy changes, we'll update the date at the top of this page.
